A nurturing yoga class suitable for those who need and want a more gentle yoga class. The class will embrace all aspects of yoga from a seated chair position and standing positions using the chair as support. At times we will also move towards using the wall as a body support.

Chair yoga will look at modifying yoga postures to suit the group, incorporating the 5 movements of the spine, simple balances, stretches and movements to help with stability and bring movement into all the joints and muscles of the body. We will also use breathing practices, meditations and chanting (optional) to inspire, nourish and help us to find peace and calm through yoga.

Classes are every Thursday at 2pm.  All welcome. Particularly suitable for people who have conditions such as C.F.S., M.E., M.S. or low energy and less movement ability. Wheelchair accessible.
